If this is Thursday...

it must be Budapest.

What an adventurous day!

We left bright and early on a bus trip. The bus trip from heck (a tiny little division of ... well you know where).

The driver trained in Japan in WWII - a kamikaze. Well, he wasnt so bad, but his bus was a nightmare.

We went to the Hostel. Traffic in Budapest is worse than NYC - really! We are talking serious gridlock. So, we get to the hostel almost 2 hours late and then start a bus tour of Budapest that turned into a walking tour. We got almost to the first stop at hero's square, and the bus died in the middle of the street, literally in the middle of the street. The driver asked us for strong young men to push the bus to get it going. We did. Film at 11.

We looked around heroes square while the driver got the bus fixed. WEll, not really. The bus wasnát ready, so we started walking - about a kiometer. The bus still wasnt ready, so we stopped and had a latte or whatever. Then the bus still wasnt ready, so we walked some more.

Finally the bus ot fixed and picked us up, and then we were 2 hours late due to traffic to a Methodist church. We had the biggest pzzas I ever saw, read the resurecction story in íhungarian and english, did a skit (If íI werenát a Christian...). Then small group talked about Easter indifferent cultures.

Then the REAL adventure started. We were supposed to see Budapest at night, and man, did we! It was 9:3ö by this time and we got on the bus, and it literally died on the spot. AFter trying to fix it, we actuallz walked a little waz, got on the bus, walked some more across the danube at night and saw the parliament and castle - a beautiful sight'. Then got on bus number 2, rode some more, switched to bus number 3, walked some more and got to the hostel where we are now at almost midnight.

What a day! God is good, all the time. A wonderful adventure and we got to spend some good quality time together.

Tomorrow is more Budapest - who knows what God has in store.

Thanks for praying.

ISTEN ÁLDJON!

God Bless!

Carl and all.

Please pray for good health, as some of our team have minor colds. We are thankful we have Barb our nurse.
