I dropped over to the seales tonight and they, along with the knepleys are working really hard to organize the yard sale that will benefit AB.  we still need a few more helpers.  in particular, we could use some abled-bodies to help us tomorrow night (fri).  we just need to move things out of the garage and put them on tables.  it won't take too long if we have plenty of hands.  billye is buying pizza for everyone who helps and i'm available to give rides.  please let me know if you can help.  email  back or call my cell 215-858-2760.  THANKS!

 

Hello Hungary Team and Families,

As you know, Anna (from Budapest) will be here this Sunday.  On Monday, I'd like to invite everyone to my house for a cookout (or cook-in - depending on the weather).  We'll start at 4pm and go to about 7-7:30.  Please let me know if you can be here and if you are bringing family.  If you would like to bring a food contribution, that is great, but not necessary.  THANKS!

 

i know this is a tricky weekend since it's a holiday, but if you are able, we could use some more help at the yard sale for Atlantic Bridge at the Seale's house.  Please let me know if you can give an hour or 2 between 10am and 3pm  (I have 8am-10am covered).

 

Still waiting to hear if any of you can give an hour or two at the Seales on Saturday between 8am and 3pm.  Please let me know.  Thanks!

 

A few things to touch base on:

 

First, of all, the Seales from our church are having a huge yard sale, on Saturday, Sept 2 from 8am-4pm.  They are donating all of the proceeds to ATLANTIC BRIDGE.  This is awesome because we have many upcoming expenses including the Hungarians visiting next summer.  We need your help!  First of all, tell your families and friends because the Seales have LOTS OF GOOD STUFF (some of it still in boxes).  Second of all, we need help at the sale - even if you can only donate an hour, we will take it.  I will keep a schedule of the day starting at 8am.  Please let me know if you can help out at all (it's easy stuff - helping customers, being the cashier, etc.).  SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW.  The Seales live in Brandywine River Estates off Creek Rd.  From the church you turn right out of the parking lot and go until Creek Rd comes up on your right.  Turn right onto Creek Rd.  Go through the stop sign at Allerton Rd and up to the Stop sign where it merges onto Cree/Rte 842.  Merge and follow Creek until you see Brandywine River Estates on your left.  Turn left and follow the road until it deadends at a "T".  Turn left and you will see the Seales house on your left.  It will be the one with all the stuff in the yard!

 

Second, MARK YOU CALENDARS for the SUMMER of 2007.  The Hungarians will be coming approximately July 16th and staying for 2 weeks.  Part of that time will be programmed with all of us and part of it will just be hanging out with the host family and being a member of the family.  More info to come!!

There's good news and not-so-good news.

 

The GOOD NEWS is that Anna Frenyo (our guide in Budapest) will be visiting over Labor Day and we're planning a picnic on Monday, Sept 4th so she can see everyone.  Time and place TBD on the picnic.

 

THE NOTSOGOOD news is that she is arriving late Sunday afternoon, September 3rd, which was when we had the Hershey Park trip planned.  So I will need to cancel it.
